About the Role Managing incoming and outgoing correspondence from the mailbox Liaising with applicants and third parties whose information is contained in the records Processing of applications under the Government Information (Public Access) Act 2009 (GIPA Act) Assist the Governance Officers in reviewing and processing applications and registration of records in our CM9 records management system Facilitate effective and prompt searches and identification of information in response to GIPA applications.
Preparing and issuing correspondence and assisting in the preparation of Notices of Decision Converting and editing documents in both Adobe and MS Word About You Experience with the GIPA Act or similar Must have experience in either the NSW Government sector, or other governance work Strong technological skills and an ability to learn new systems (experience with Salesforce would be a benefit). Ability to deal with high work volumes and independently Good communication skills (written and verbal) Awareness of sensitive and confidential obligations Exceptional attention to detail Experience with records management systems such as TRIM or CM9 which are essential..
