Role Overview The focus of the role will be to provide expert insight in the development of a system predicated on ensuring the establishment of effective risk management processed across the businesses 1st line risk framework. The position is mandated across the Complaint Management function. Ensure effectiveness of the systems whilst working within the appropriate risk appetite; Identify and pursue areas for improvement in risk culture and awareness across the business; Assist in the detailed assessment of the project’s operational effectiveness in addition to detailed reporting on design and implementation efficiency; Collaborate with key stakeholders across governance and assurance as well as 2nd line risk to ensure favourable project results; Engage in risk review, testing and monitoring programs to ensure the achievement of system priorities; Provide 1st line risk expertise to ensure viability of key deliverables across the different work streams.

Skills & Experience Minimum 3 years industry experience (legal, regulatory, risk or compliance function in the financial services sector); Sound knowledge of regulatory and compliance obligations and operational risk management; Prior experience in preparing and reviewing effectiveness test scripts; Prior experience dealing with governance frameworks; Prior experience working within Complaint Management & Resolution; Degree qualified; Strong communication skills; Ability to apply technical skills across a varied role.
