The Role We have a dynamic opportunity for a Manager - Superannuation Applications to join us on a permanent basis. The Manager - Superannuation Applications will demonstrate their strong business acumen and stakeholder management skills in leading a large team in the development and support of technical applications to meet the changing environment.

The role is responsible for managing the application development, support maintenance services and continuous improvement for accountable applications in accordance with the IT application architecture roadmap and standards and agreed IT service levels. The role will report to and work collaboratively with the Head of IT Delivery. At QSuper, we value flexible working arrangements, however we understand flexibility is not the same for everyone.

Please note that the location for this role is temporarily 'work from home' due to the current requirements for all Australians to practise social distancing amid the COVID-19 pandemic. When these requirements are lifted, this role will be based at its former primary location of Brisbane CBD.

Skills, Experience and Qualifications As Manager - Superannuation Applications at QSuper, ideally, you will demonstrate some or most of the below: Relevant tertiary qualifications in Computer Science, Information Systems or other related field. Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of contemporary IT related frameworks and methodologies, including information technology infrastructure library (ITIL), COBIT, TOGAF, PRINCE2, AGILE, and SCRUM. Superior communication skills with all levels of the organisation (written and verbal); in particular the ability to explain complex technical concepts and issues in a way non-technical people can understand.

Experience managing multiple, competing demands across teams and managing stakeholder expectation through the provision of clear advice and recommendation. High level financial management, project accounting and activity-based costing skills. Proven ability to identify and analyse trends within the IT and financial services industry.

Demonstrated and applied knowledge of relevant regulatory and compliance frameworks. At QSuper we are proud to champion respe.
