Position Title: Registered Nurse - Critical Care (ED/ICU) - Casual Pool Employment Type: Casual Hours per week: Up to 38 Hours per week Position Grade: Registered Nurse Salary: $64,184.86- $90,122.83 Enterprise Agreement: Named NSW (non-declared) Affiliated Health Organisations' Nurses Agreement, 2017 Department Name: Emergency Department & Intensive Care Unit Position Summary: St Vincent's Hospital is recruiting experienced (minimum 2 years critical care experience) nurses for our Emergency Department (ED) and Intensive Care Unit (ICU).
This is an exciting time to join our Critical Care Casual Pool with option of working in either or both areas. Our Emergency Department has advanced and innovative nursing practices in place that will develop you and provide you with a platform to take your career in the direction that you are looking for. We are a supportive and strengths based team; we welcome applications from experienced emergency nurses to join the casual pool.
You will be well supported by a Nurse Manager, Clinical Nurse Consultant, Clinical Nurse Educators and a team of Nurse Unit Managers. Our Intensive Care Unit specialises in General/Neuro/Trauma/ and Cardiothoracic/ Heart/Lung transplantation. This busy unit provides a friendly, supportive and caring environment focused on the delivery of high quality patient centred care.
As an ECMO referral centre, the unit offers opportunities to develop advanced ICU skills and experience in innovative and evolving technology in a progressive and innovative team. This position requires a Working with Children Check (WWCC) issued by the Office of the Children's Guardian.
