Vintage Cellarhands : Working across different parts of the winery, you will assist with a range of tasks including transferring of juice and wine, crushing, filtering and fermentation activities. It is desirable that you have previous vintage or winery operations experience although it is not essential. Vintage Laboratory Technicians : These positions will involve performing a range of routine analysis on grape, juice and wine samples.
You will be able to run and maintain all laboratory equipment as well as keep sound calibration and data records, whilst upholding the highest level of quality control. While you will receive on the job training, it is desirable that you have a minimum year 12 Chemistry or a related science field with some analytical or winery laboratory experience beneficial. Vintage Intake Operators : These roles are responsible for assessing grape deliveries and ensuring they meet agreed grape quality standards and specifications, creating accurate weigh notes for grower deliveries and ensuring the deliveries are in line with the confirmed intake schedule working within the grape intake area.
During the vintage period, the winery will run 24 hours a day, 7 days a week with the positions requiring weekend and shift work up to 6 x 12 hour shifts per week.
