This leading agribusiness is looking for an experienced operator to join them at their grain and storage handling facility located in Bogan Gate, NSW. Delivering hands on support, the Site Supervisor position calls for someone with excellent leadership qualities who is skilled in delivering operational efficiencies. Focused on effective people management, the role is responsible for sourcing staff, training programs, engagement, performance management and staff development plans.
Overseeing onsite storage activities, you will lead the performance of risk management systems and inventory management programs while playing an active role in the onsite maintenance and reliability program. The Site Manager is accountable for operational expenses control, energy reduction indexes and grain quality control. Committed to a culture of safety at all times, your duties will include but not be limited to: Manage storage operations - operational employees, casuals and contractors Execution of risk management systems Operational expenses control, energy reduction, grain quality control Manage all staff operations including; sourcing, training, engagement, performance and development and succession plans Collaborate with other site supervisors and Regional Operations Manager to align business plans and deliver greater efficiencies Lead staff management through operational training programs, employee engagement, performance systems, individual development plans and succession strategies.
Skills & Experience You come with proven leadership skills and a background in agriculture/grain operations. Willing to put yourself into the mix and play a hands-on role, you're flexible, capable and committed to the job.
