Job Description We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Cleaning Manager to lead a team of cleaners, whilst delivering required outcomes for one of Assetlink’s significant clients, located at the Auckland Airport.
As part of this role you will be required to, but not limited to: Develop and manage the site to achieve profitable business relationships with clients. Organise, control and coordinate the operational management of the site to ensure efficient delivery of Assetlink’s cleaning contract. Your most significant management activity will be the managing of the team of shift managers through whom all floor staff report.
To create and sustain a safe and productive environment for our client and occupants. To be responsible for the efficient day to day coordination and management of the Contract and Assetlink employees. Provide hands-on leadership to employee and establish an environment which fosters high morale, performance, ethical behaviour and the general well-being of personnel.
Prepare regular reports and analysis of business achievements, opportunities and targets, including risk assessments, cost benefit and SWOT analysis. To be successful in this role, you will have: Understand the requirements for facilities management Provide experience in effective cleaning services, including a hands-on knowledge and practice of cleaning practices Impeccable communication skills both written and verbal. Outstanding problem-solving skills.
Strong attention to detail and the ability to motivate your team. Experience in performance management. Ability to give direction and instruction to people.
Provide exceptional customer service. Communicate effectively with the client, passengers, customers, airport stakeholders and their staff. Experience in large retail environments an advantage Previous experience managing a team.
Competent computer skills and proficient in Microsoft programs are an absolute necessity.
