As the Payroll Manager you will be reporting to the CFO, and will be responsible for the end to end management and processing of fortnightly payroll. Whilst you will work within a small finance team, the organisation have over 400 employees.
Description As the Payroll Manager, you will be responsible for: Leading a small team delivering payroll processing, reporting and associated activities. Supporting the organisation in meeting its taxation, superannuation, and other statutory obligations. Managing the payroll functions, including the administration of fringe benefits, conditions, allowances, employee deductions, PAYG reconciliation, leave entitlements, accruals, increments, records maintenance, and pay variations.
Auditing system processes and maintain data integrity in iChris. Profile An ideal Payroll Manager will have: Experience using iChris/Chris21 or similar payroll software. Processing weekly, fortnightly, and monthly pays, including multiple pay runs.
Interpretation of awards, enterprise agreements, payroll tax and WorkCover legislation. Demonstrated experience in month-end reporting and fringe benefits calculations. Highly competent Excel skills including complex formulae and pivot tables.
