Description As Financial Accountant, you will form part of a larger finance team and be responsible for the financial accounting aspect of the business performance reporting. Your duties will include the full month end process including financial statement preparation, external audit and tax compliance, capex and Board reporting, variance analysis and assisting with the budgets and forecasts.
You will also oversee the General Ledger and review the AP and AR recons. This role offers a collaborative environment, where together with the broader team you will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely reporting is delivered to the Board. Profile You will be CA/CPA qualified and either be working in a Big 4 firm as a Senior Consultant or as a Senior Accountant within the commercial sector with at least 4 years experience in technical financial accounting.
This role requires sound knowledge of the Australian Accounting Standards and is best suited to someone with a strong technical accounting background in financial statement audits or financial accounting.
