Job Description Your responsibilities will include: Providing professional direction and support to staff in delivery of care and best practice to clients Ensuring compliance and legislation is adhered to at all times Prepare and distributing rosters with consultation with the Regional Manager and ensuring employees are allocated hours and paid correctly Managing a team of disability support workers and ensuring they are engaged, motivated and delivering quality care Compile and prepare reports for management and other external stakeholders including but not limited to Government Departments Desired Skills and Experience What you need to be considered for this position: Tertiary qualifications in the industry or similar is essential Strong communication and interpersonal skills Experience working with people with various barriers Experience in the industry with a sound understanding of legislation and compliance First aid will be highly desired Ability to work unsupervised as well as part of a team Able to deliver training to a team when required Strong understanding and respect for Indigenous culture Have a current open driver’s license Hold a current or are able to obtain Working with Children/Vulnerable People clearances Hold a current or able to obtain a National Police Check Australian Citizenship or Permanent Residency.
