Assessor of Electronics

This is an exciting opportunity that will allow the successful candidate to involve themselves in a range of activities that support learning and enhance the educative process.   TAFE NSW is seeking an Assessor of Electronics to join the team based at the Newcastle Campus.   Specifically, this role will work as part of the Electronics section and will assess students both on campus and in the workplace.

Assessors may also be involved in the development of assessments as well as assisting in the marking of skills competency workbooks. You will love this position if….   Working as part of a dynamic team to assess Electronics learners in a range of workplace environments appeals to you You want to use your expert knowledge to contribute to the assessment tools to develop and carry out independent assessments You enjoy motivating and encouraging others to complete set tasks and activities   Reporting to the Head Teacher or Teacher in Charge, this position:  Works as part of a team to design, validate and carry out assessments and moderations Is responsible for implementing assessment strategies that have been developed in conjunction with the Teacher Develops and carries out independent assessments Supports Teachers and Head Teachers in meeting ASQA compliance functions including documentation Motivates and encourages the candidates to complete their tasks and activities   If you have: Certificate III in Electronics and Communications Minimum 3 years recent relevant industry experience TAE40116 Assessor Skill Set The desire to continue to develop your Vocational Education and Training (VET) knowledge and skills as well as your industry currency and trainer/assessor competence                             … we would love to hear from you   TAFE NSW’s purpose is to skill the workforce of the future.
