Bring your enthusiasm. Be rewarded. As the Superannuation Trustee Claims Consultant, this role is focused on working with the Superannuation Trustee board by assisting in developing, implementing, maintaining and monitoring the Trustee’s claims management framework of Perpetual.

Here are some specifics about the opportunity: End to end responsibility for claims management across the Trustee’s suite of products Implement best practice processes in compliance with the Insurance in Superannuation Code of Practice and to enable the Trustee to deliver on their obligations to members Provide sound investigation, ownership and decision-making skills across the claim’s management process Make decisions under delegation from the Trustee on death benefit payments and requests for the early release of superannuation Review decisions by the insurer to decline an insurance claim and make recommendations to the Trustee’s Claims Committee Manage complex insurance enquiries and escalations and liaise with the Head of Client Advocacy on the resolution of member complaints Ensure service providers are meeting the requirements under the administration contract and the Insurance in Superannuation Code of Practice and service agreements Work closely on claims related matters with internal and external stakeholders including insurers, administrators and the Office of the Superannuation Trustee What you will need to succeed: To be considered for this opportunity, your qualifications, skills and experience could include: Tertiary qualification in Law, finance, accounting or business degree preferred Proven experience in a Trustee Claims role and strong knowledge of the Superannuation Code of Practice 5 years superannuation experience, ideally in an insurance role, superannuation administration or product position Strong self/time management skills Strong attention to detail and accuracy Initiative & willingness to learn Problem solving skills & knowledge of when to escalate issues Why should you join Perpetual?
