You will be responsible for: Providing a high standard of personal care, including assisting residents with personal hygiene, dressing, meals, mobility and transfers, and social support Providing general resident support including making resident beds, tidying their room, and offering companionship Supporting our residents to achieve maximum independence, within the requirements of their care plan and with consideration of their individual preferences Supporting the provision of a clean, comfortable, safe and secure living environment Assisting residents who wish to participate in leisure and lifestyle activities Promptly responding to resident call buttons for assistance Promptly reporting any changes in resident health status to the Registered Nurse on duty Documenting resident observations, events and care appropriately to ensure accurate records are maintained within eCase Maintaining your duty of confidentiality relating to residents, volunteers and employees, ensuring that any confidential information that becomes known through the course your employment remains confidential Creating a positive work environment, demonstrating the Greengate values in your daily actions Engaging with all team members in a positive and respectful manner, welcoming a culturally diverse team and maintaining a cohesive team spirit Working in a safe manner to protect yourself, your colleagues and residents.
