As a Senior Registrar you will have the opportunity to complete your specialty training or embark upon subspecialty training or advanced (higher degree) research. We pride ourselves on being able to develop each SR position to suit the individual needs of each successful appointee, with the added flexibility of changing the clinical experiences of the post as the year progresses and your requirements change. Working within small consultant-led teams provides you with the opportunity for structured feedback and career guidance as well as enabling supervised enhancement of teaching and mentoring skills.
The position can include advanced laparoscopic surgery, high risk obstetrics, OG ultrasound, colposcopy, urogynaecology, gynae-oncology, reproductive endocrinology, general gynaecology and materno-fetal medicine.
