The successful applicants will have the opportunity to work with children, adolescents and adults with disabilities and their families and carers.
The location of the positions will be in Wagga Wagga and Tumut, with a relocation reimbursement payable to the Tumut position. The Opportunity Kurrajong Therapy Plus consists of a unique multidisciplinary team of Speech Pathologists, Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, Allied Health Assistants, Educators and Aides. As a valued member of our Speech Pathology team, you will have the opportunity to make a real difference in people’s lives by providing clinical therapy to clients who are experiencing learning, sensory, language, intellectual and cognitive difficulties.
What We Offer Regular clinical supervision and support Above award salary and salary packaging options Excellent facilities and resources The opportunity to work within an experienced and supportive multidisciplinary team Excellent professional development opportunities A unique and diverse caseload Essential Criteria A relevant university qualification in Speech Pathology Current Class C Drivers Licence Working with Children Check clearance (or willing to obtain) Current member of Speech Pathology Australia National Police History Check for Aged/Children/Disabled/Vulnerable (conducted by Kurrajong) Experience, Skills & Knowledge Relevant experience as a Speech Pathologist or student placements if a recent graduate Ability to prioritise, plan, anticipate risks and problem solve Excellent written and verbal communication skills Understanding of person centred and family centred practice Ability to think creatively and use initiative to work through issues Ability to implement Work Health and Safety, Risk Management and Quality Assurance requirements Interested?
