Business Analyst



We are looking for a number of experienced Business Analysts to work on site of various clients based in Canberra. Wide range of projects AJQ Group now has a requirement for a number of Business Analysts to work on our client site as part of as multi-discipline team responsible for the delivery of multiple projects including: Incident Response systems Safety and Compliance systems CRM and Intellidox systems The role is responsible for converting user/business processes and information needs to identify changes that lead to business improvements. You will have the following responsibilities: Plan, support and deliver business analysis work for approved initiatives.

Engage with stakeholders in order to understand and elicit requirements and translate business requirements into specific functional and non-functional specifications. Review and analyse the Division’s business intentions, services, processes and information needs to identify and document changes user requirements for new business solutions and enhancements. Develop strategies for the continuous monitoring, evaluation and improvement of all aspects of business analysis work using known frameworks.

Manage and develop stakeholder relationships through effective communication, negotiation and issues management to define business requirements and trends to enable informed business decisions and service level improvements Lead the articulation of business requirements and facilitation of business and system solutions. Contribute to the development of project plans (e.g.

implementation plans, requirement gathering, specifications, change management, user acceptance testing, training) to facilitate the successful achievement of business initiatives and strategic goals. Provide plain language advice on technical issues to non-technical audiences To be successful in securing this role you will have the following abilities, skills and experience: 5 years as Business Analyst. business analysis skills and experience in detailed analysis and understanding of the functional requirements and business process documentation, including the tracking of functional and process documentation, including the tracking of functional and process changes.

Consulting and negotiating with diverse stakeholders, including vendors, and driving outcomes within acceptable costs and timelines. Distilling business needs to identify fit for purpose options. Keeping across changing technologies, business processes and industry best practices.

Managing deliverables independently against rapidly shifting priorities to respond to internal and external demands. Extensive experience in using Atlassian tool set including JIRA, Confluence and Portfolio. Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as in a team environment and success with meeting deadlines under pressure Demonstrated problem solving abilities as well as good negotiation skills and business acumen.
