The Company My client is an award-winning contractor with 25 years’ experience in Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, Hunter region, Sydney and Mid-North Coast. They deliver all aspects of construction including commercial developments, fit out & refurbishments, residential units and high-end housing up to $50M. The Role We are looking for Junior Contracts Administration with a passion for the construction industry that wants to grow and develop with the business.
You will be responsible for helping deliver 8 sites with 13 townhouses on each plot worth $30M reporting to the Senior Contract Administrator & Project Manager. Duties will include: Processing and preparing specifications and scopes of work Managing material and contractor tenders Preparation of tender packages Assisting in time, quality and cost control Managing and processing progress claims and invoices Liaise with sub-contractors and consultants Assist in financial programming and budgets Preparation of cost reports To be successful for the role you must have the following: A minimum of 3 years working on residential OR commercial projects within the building construction industry Reliability with a mature and enthusiastic attitude Building construction product knowledge and experience Computer skills with a high level of competency in Excel and general knowledge of Microsoft Office required Strong attention to detail Excellent time management skills and the ability to work un-supervised Previous contracts administration experience with a builder/developer would be preferred Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to work across multiple tasks to achieve deadlines Competent user of Procore | Jobpac or Cheops software Benefits for you: Work for well-recognised and award-winning company Training and development from senior members of staff Friendly working environment Strong pipeline of work If you are keen to discuss the role in more detail, please contact Chelsea on 0420671334 or email your CV to chelsea.morleyacrworld.
