Executive Director Digital Transformation Lead



The Planning & Assessment division within Department of Planning, Industry & Environment (DPIE) is looking for an experienced executive to take on the role of Executive Director Digital Transformation Lead. Full-time ongoing role based in Parramatta - alternate locations can be negotiated TRP starting from $284k including superannuation, commensurate with experience About the role As the Executive Director Digital Transformation Lead you will provide expert advice and leadership with a focus on the implementation of the E planning program, the digital transformation program and manage stakeholder relations and engagement. You will be involved in a visionary and complex implementation process operating in an environment of high innovation, where you will be overseeing effective procurement and contract management, risk management and governance.

In this role you will be liaising with the Deputy Secretary, Secretary, Minister and Cabinet on digital transformation related matters, providing expert advice and recommendation to facilitate effective decision making and achievement of objectives. About you You will be a high performing executive with extensive knowledge of council systems, requirements, operations and build.

You will have proven leadership experience within complex environments. Most importantly your stakeholder engagement and negotiation skills will need to be of a very high standard, you will be managing stakeholders from diverse backgrounds and with a variety of viewpoints and you will need to negotiate a middle ground. Some of the stakeholders include Councils, NSW Government Agencies, NGOs, industry, community groups and universities - any prior experience managing such relationships will be highly beneficial.
