Great role with perks Be Quick The Role: The Senior Accountant will report to the Client Services Manager who takes the time to mentor and support. You will be able to apply your current knowledge, skills and acumen gained as an Accountant in Public Practice to ensure clients taxation and accounting needs are fully addressed in a timely manner and within the practice service delivery standards. Alternatively, you can also be an experienced Senior Accountant that is looking for a fresh new challenge.

About Robert Goodman Accountants: Robert Goodman Accountants is a Boutique Chartered Accounting practice that has been servicing business and tax clients successfully for over 25 years.

Based in Samford, they provide accounting and business advice to small businesses and medium sized enterprises (SME). You will be joining a growing firm where you will be supported and encouraged in your career development. Working Monday to Friday 8.30am-5pm, your main responsibilities will include: Review of financial statements and tax work prepared by other junior accountants; Preparation of financial statements and income tax returns for all entities; BAS, IAS and other ATO lodgements; Preparation of clear and concise work papers as evidence of work performed & Assist with tax planning for clients. To be considered for this great opportunity you will have: A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a public practice accounting firm; Experience using Xero, QuickBooks and MYOB ; Strong technical tax and accounting ability is essential; Reliable vehicle and valid drivers licence; Experience using HandiSoft; Experience using Reckon is advantageous; Experience with, or an enthusiasm to learn how to, review tax work prepared by other junior accountants; A friendly and personable nature as well as display a positive attitude and take pride in your work & A genuine enthusiasm to work in a close-knit team.
