Your new role Working closely with the Deputy CFO, you will lead our Financial Accounting and Management Accounting functions. You will provide strong and well-integrated advice on financial and corporate governance, financial practices and guide robust decision making with well-considered financial information. You will: Lead month end process, quarterly forecast and annual budget preparation, Prepare monthly CFO report for Board review with comprehensive commentary on variances to budget, forecast and prior year, Review and identify remedial actions to ensure sufficient cash flow and funding to meet business demands, Ensure your team feel supported, know what is expected and enjoy individual development Identify opportunities to improve processes and improve our services to stakeholders About you As a highly experienced finance professional (10 years) with a CA/CPA/CIMA qualification you will have: Strong management reporting, variance analysis, budgeting and forecasting experience Strong people leadership experience bringing teams on the journey of change A focus on continuously improving processes and delivering accurate, considered data for better decision making Strong customer service ethos and a track record building strong partnerships with all stakeholders Prior experience in the Not-for-profit, Ageing or Disability sector desirable In the COVID world we are working remotely to ensure we can continue to deliver services.
