The Audit Coordinator is responsible for the development, implementation and monitoring of the Uniting Communities Internal Audit Program. This position will also monitor the progress and results of external audits across the organisation working closely with internal auditors, business unit staff and the management team. In addition, reporting of findings and recommendations of both internal and external audits are required to be submitted as part of the monthly reporting process.
Uniting Communities approach to Auditing has a strong link to our continuous improvement process which encourages creativity and growth in staff as well as improving processes. To be successful in this role, you will have demonstrated experience in developing, managing and implementing an audit program across an organisation, working with staff from different levels, and understanding quality and risk management frameworks as well as demonstrated experience in interpretting legislative standards. A track record in delivering results and a qualification as Quality (ISO 9001) Lead Auditor is required.
