Permanent Logistics Manager job based in Western Sydney. Your new company This large Manufacturing Company offering a range of specialist products are well recognised in their market and are currently seeking a high caliber Logistics Manager to drive a first class operation. Your new role The Logistics Manager will report into the Supply Chain Manager and will be responsible for the day to day management of planning, warehousing and logistics for Australia and New Zealand.
With six direct reports the role will have responsibility for ensuring a high level of service to internal and external customers through effective management of the supply chain process across planning, shipping and warehousing. What you'll need to succeed The ideal candidate will have extensive Logistics Management experience with strong leadership and negotiation skills. You will be tertiary qualified within a logistics, business or supply chain related field.
You will have had exposure to Production Planning as well as continuous improvement in a warehouse environment. Being an experienced SAP user is highly desirable and you will be an excellent communicator. The successful candidate will have a hands on approach and will have previously worked in a fast paced and dynamic environment.
You will have knowledge across planning, warehousing and shipping and have experience developing a team to the highest possible standard whilst engaging other areas of the business.
