Officer, Financial Markets & Treasury How will I Help? Debt Markets & Treasury Operations forms part of Institutional Banking Services under the Group Operations, Property and Commercial Services division. The broader business is responsible for processing and settlement of Bilateral and Syndicated loan transactions, including Bank Guarantees, Asset Finance and Securitisation. Security & Derivative product settlement and clearing including European & Domestic Bonds and Treasury processing.
Responsible for daily reconciliation of the Group’s stock and Nostro cash accounts as well as internal control reporting and settle compensation claims which may arise through trading activity and investigation of reconciliation breaks. As an officer you will create and maintain a business unit that is focussed on increasing customer satisfaction, developing a high performing and skilled workforce and cost efficient business practices. You will operate in accordance with Compliance & Privacy requirements and manage operational risk effectively.

Specific product knowledge advantageous (Loan Markets debt product, derivatives, money market financial transactions). Specific system knowledge advantageous (Austraclear, RITS, Euroclear, Murex) Excellent focus on attention to detail with the capability to work and make decisions in a fast paced environment. Energetic and motivated, able to work well inside a group and broadly across an organisation.
Confident and articulate communicator. Positive and enthusiastic approach to acquiring product and systems knowledge. Flexible team player with the ability to work under pressure.
