Work Health & Safety (WHS) Manager ASAP to 14/08/2020 (3-Months) Hourly Rate: $64.24 Super Rozelle/Balmain NSW Health | NSW Government The Role: Lead a best practice and high performing safety team building and maintaining an organisation wide safety culture. Provide strategic and operational Work Health & Safety (WHS) services that support the State-wide achievement of corporate objectives.
Key Accountability: The Manager WHS has the primary responsibility for managing the Safety team, identifying the need for, and fostering, cultural change and for sustaining a sound safety culture throughout the organisation. Core Responsibilities: Lead, develop and consultation of NSW Ambulance's Strategic Work Health and Safety Plan, and related policies, procedures and programs to support business objectives. Develop, implement and evaluate WHS publicity material and training courses to meet legislative requirements, Standards and Codes of Practice.
Undertake best-practice research and special projects across the WHS portfolio, to ensure continuous improvement and support to business delivery.
