Due to growth within the business, we are seeking an enthusiastic go-getter who is interested in learning the ropes of the finance industry. As the Junior Administrator you will be the face of our business and required to support the team on a daily basis. We are looking for a person who can easily manage routine tasks without the need for regular follow up but that is also interested in acquiring more industry skills and taking on various tasks as required.
This role will initially be permanent part-time with a goal of increasing to full time. Hours: Monday to Friday, from 8:30am to 12:30pm each day. Job tasks and responsibilities: Answering incoming calls in a professional manner, transferring or taking messages Professionally greeting clients and offering refreshments Collection and posting of mail Administration of reception emails Maintaining and updating databases and additional data entry requirements Ensuring the office, board room and kitchen areas are always kept presentable General administration duties and office support, including scanning, filing and shredding, as required Diary management and appointment setting Ad hoc tasks as directed To be successful in this role you will need: Excellent phone manner Excellent communication, organisation and interpersonal skills To be well-mannered and have a mature attitude To respect and understand confidentiality requirements Good computer skills, proficient in Microsoft Office / Word programs and the ability to learn new systems quickly Sound understanding of math principles is advantageous Outstanding attention to detail, accuracy in your work including excellent spelling and grammar A proven ability to prioritise Proven ability to work in a team environment and complete tasks efficiently Ability to work under pressure, managing strict deadlines 3 month probation period applies.
