Technology is being used to assist psychologists in monitoring clients' outcomes and satisfaction as a way of improving therapy outcomes. We are early adopters of electronic client records, and our focus is on delivering an exceptional service to our clients from their first contact.

General Description of Position The successful applicant will be responsible for providing receptionist and secretarial support to clients and psychologists within the practice in a caring, supportive and efficient manner. Our receptionists are the first point of contact for our clients, so excellent interpersonal skills are essential to this role. This role will also require excellent time management skills, and the ability to manage several tasks at once.

This is a casual position, requiring the successful applicant to work approximately 3 days per week. Duties Include Answering telephone, email and web enquiries. Processing payments through HICAPS/EFTPOS (including private health and medicare claims) Scheduling appointments and meetings using appointment booking software General administrative duties Light cleaning duties Basic bookkeeping Maintain strict confidentiality Selection Criteria Excellent computing skills and ability to learn new systems quickly Warm personality both on phone and in person Calm presentation even with highly distressed clients in crisis Excellent interpersonal skills Ability to work in a team environment as well as independently Ability to work in a busy environment and efficiently multitask Organised, resourceful and able to problem solve Attention to detail Reliable Desirable Skills / Experience Must be available to work Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays Must have previous administrative/receptionist experience Previous experience in a medical / allied health environment is desirable Must have previous experience using a HICAPS terminal to process private health and Medicare claims.
