An opportunity has become available in Brisbane for an individual with a minimum of 1-2 years SAP experience to join a fun and collaborative team in a diverse organisation The primary objective of the Business Administrator is to work closely with the Business Manager, Sustainability and Project teams to prepare comprehensive reports and resources for Projects and Workplace Solutions. In this role you will perform various coordinating tasks such as preparation and monitoring of project financials, departmental budgets and expenditures as well as organising and participating in stakeholder meetings and other administrative duties including; requests for funds, processing invoices, variations, etc.
Behavioural Profile & Position Objective: The person we are looking for is self-motivated and able to work to tight deadlines, works hard, takes initiative and has the ability to work independently whilst being team orientated. You will be collaborating with clients and internal teams to deliver results as well as displaying excellent time management and communication skills. You will be a key interface between the Project and Sustainability Teams and the reporting managers, capturing the best possible data for the purpose of maintaining data bases and accurate reporting.
Position Purpose: This role is also accountable for supporting the onboarding of new Project and Workplace Solution staff and will be required to develop and assist with the implementation of new project procedures, guidelines, reporting templates and ongoing staff training. The Business Administrator will assist the Business Manager to ensure the entire project team works within agreed KPI’s, developed with the General Manager which as a minimum would include: - Safety outcomes through a continuing safety culture. - Supporting and contributing to the Project department.
- Delivering outstanding service to all stakeholders. - Organisational and departmental compliance. Key Experiences & Skills: - Tertiary qualifications projects, administration, management or similar would be preferred.
- Proven work experience (3 years plus) in a project, administration or similar role - A strong sense of accountability and responsibility. An ability to prepare and interpret flowcharts, schedules and step-by-step action plans - Solid organisational skills, including multitasking and time-management as you will be working on multiple projects simultaneously - Strong client-facing communication and teamwork skills - Familiarity with risk management and quality assurance control - Strong working knowledge of SAP, Microsoft Project and Suite (Work, Excel, Outlook, etc). - Knowledge of file management, transcription, and other administrative procedures.
