APS 5/6 GRANTS OFFICERS
About Our Client Our client Australian Trade and Investment Commission are searching for grant officers to undertake a range of tasks to support administration of various tourism grants program. Grants officers will need to build and maintain positive, professional working relationships with a range of grant recipients, while ensuring that taxpayer's funds are spent appropriately, and grants are managed to maximise achievement of program objectives. About the Role Your responsibilities include Assist in the co-ordination of grant applications and corresponding assessments.
Negotiate and manage funding agreements for individual projects. Undertake ongoing management of individual grants and associated stakeholder liaison and engagement. Prepare briefs and responses to Ministerial correspondence.
Skills Required Handle high volumes of program and administrative work Deliver results working in a complex and changing environment Have good communication skills, with a high level of attention to detail and accuracy Trouble shoot problems and make recommendations on appropriate action to take Develop expertise and subject matter knowledge quickly Develop good working relationships with a variety of stakeholders. Well-developed Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel and Word. On Offer This is a fantastic full-time contract opportunity for the right person to work for the government.
