Mulesoft Integration Specialist - Based in Sydney CBD



A prestigious organisation is looking for a Mulesoft Integration Specialist to work on a project from scratch. This is a 6-month contract with possible extension and it is based in Sydney CBD. Responsibilities: Contribute significantly to the evaluation and selection of new technology products that align with the enterprise architecture and technology standards.

Prepare high-level and detailed solution designs and estimates with input from infrastructure architects, IT Security and technical vendor representatives - with a focus on integrations between new products and existing cloud and on-premise systems. Undertake research and prepare sound recommendations for particularly complex technology solutions. Analyse client needs and provide advice to ensure client requirements and service levels are met.

Ensure the solutions are implemented and maintained in accordance with established standards and guidelines. Work collaboratively in a team environment with Project Managers, Business Analysts, business representatives, Architects and other IT Teams. Requirements: Substantial knowledge and experience in application and solution design in a large-scale, complex, integrated IT environment with a focus on architecting and integrating corporate, HR and financial applications at the enterprise level.

Must be able to get in to the detail of these skill sets. Experience working on RFI and RFP tender-based IT procurement projects providing technical evaluation of vendor solutions and providing recommendations. Demonstrated thorough working knowledge in the following areas: Complex system design utilising Microsoft technologies, AWS cloud services and Middleware solutions including Mulesoft Integration development and interface standards including RAML, Swagger/OAS, REST APIs, JSON, XML, SOAP Web Services Application security concepts such as authorization, authentication and identity management Knowledge of SAP technologies and integration capabilities is highly desirable Outstanding research, analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to investigate, analyse, diagnose and solve complex technical problems.

Outstanding organisational and project management skills with the ability to independently manage your own workload within agreed timeframes across multiple projects simultaneously. Outstanding communication, presentation and negotiation skills, with the ability to understand business needs and explain complex technical issues to colleagues and stakeholders at all levels. Demonstrated significant technical leadership skills with the ability to train, mentor and guide employees.
