Senior Advisor (Operational Safety)

RoadTek has 3 openings for Senior Advisor (Operational Safety) who will be responsible for providing support to RoadTek operational units with workplace health and safety services, managing the implementation of system changes into the branch, and building frontline capability to effectively manage workplace health and safety risks. RoadTek offers benefits such as: • Flexible work arrangements • Professional training and development opportunities • Attractive remuneration package (including generous super and leave loading) About the Role • Deliver targeted and organisation-wide safety and well-being initiatives. • Provide one-on-one coaching for frontline supervisors and their crews to achieve effective and compliant management of workplace health and safety risks. • Investigate, analyse and document improvement opportunities for RoadTek's management systems arising from workplace incidents.
• Assist with the RoadTek internal audit program, including planning and coordinating audits, monitoring actions and maintaining records. • Consult with internal and external stakeholders in order to define and analyse issues and identify appropriate system continuous improvement solutions. • Provide support in the development, integration, implementation and effective interaction of business systems.
What you will need • Valid Queensland ‘C' class driver's licence or equivalent. • Ability to perform a substantial amount of travel consistent with industry standards throughout the State. • Qualifications in occupational health and safety - Bachelors Degree in OHS is highly desirable • Experience and qualifications in systems design and auditing is highly desirable • Experience and qualifications in workplace incident investigation is highly desirable • Ability to work within a team or with minimal supervision.
