Principal Engineer (Civil)
In the role of Principal Engineer (Civil) you will project manage the delivery of key construction packages as part of the $1.03billion Varsity Lakes to Tugun M1 Upgrade. To ensure successful delivery of this major urban motorway upgrade, the incumbent will possess a diverse range of experience that will enable them to adapt their program / project management approach to suit the delivery requirements.
A second temporary position is also available within the Region's Construction team to deliver other projects within the South Coast Region. Skills / Knowledge / Abilities required: • Experience in providing reports on the progress of works including actual and forecast of expenditure. • Extensive experience in applying program/project management principals to lead the delivery of high value infrastructure projects.
• Demonstrated experience in complex contract administration. • Ability to successfully manage networks and alliances of stakeholders and manage the expectations and issues of all parties. • Degree in Civil Engineering or an equivalent Civil Engineering qualification which is accepted by Engineers Australia.
