Our long day-care service is the only early childhood service in the local area providing education and care for working parents for children aged 6 weeks to school age. Cunnamulla Early Childhood Centre also has a separate after school care and vacation care facility and stand-alone Kindergarten supported by The Gowrie.
The local community and families depend on our services. We are looking for two new team members to help bring vital services and stimulating education and care to the children of the Cunnamulla region. In these rewarding roles your focus will be on providing a nurturing, safe and stimulating environment.
Each day will be distinct but will include: Ensuring education and care delivery practices are in line with Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and My Time Our Place; Delivering a high quality cycle of planning the curriculum and outcomes for each child and guaranteeing transparency with families; Group Leader: remuneration package indicative of $53,000 - $56,500 (dependent on qualifications) per annum plus superannuation, with salary packaging benefits that greatly increase take-home pay. Child Care Assistant: remuneration package indicative of $45,800 - $49,000 per annum plus superannuation, with salary packaging benefits that greatly increase take-home pay. You are looking for a unique opportunity and way of life and to contribute to a community To be suitable for the role of Group Leader, your qualifications will include: Diploma in Children's Services; or a Certificate III in Children's Services and working towards the Diploma. Sound knowledge and understanding of the developmental needs of children including children with additional needs; To be suitable for the Child Care Assistant position, your qualifications will include: Certificate III in Childrens services or currently studying this qualification Importantly, you will be someone who closely aligns with our organisational values of: Unconditional love; Mutual trust; Wise stewardship and Continual innovation.
