Permanent Full Time or Part Time role/s available (Mon – Fri) Therapeutic support for children and young people Based in Rockhampton Join a progressive & supportive organisation Carinity is looking for a qualified Child and Family Therapist to join the team in the Rockhampton office on a full time or part time basis. Responsibilities include put are not limited to: Monitoring the level of risk to children and families engaged within the Child Safety program Providing an outstanding therapeutic service to these vulnerable children, young people and their carers Building referral pathways to grow and sustain the business. What do I need for the role of Child and Family Therapist? Appropriate tertiary qualification/s in Psychology/Social Work/Counselling or similar relevant discipline.

At least two years' experience working with children and young people impacted by trauma or who have experienced abuse and neglect, or similar roles. Clinical and therapeutic understanding of the impacts of trauma on child and family functioning and knowledge of current trauma treatment trends.
