The role The Business Banking Manager (BBM) is a mobile customer facing sales & service role specialising in the SME Segment.
The SME segment is a key segment in Bank of Melbourne and includes business owners with between $500k - $8M annual turnover. How will I help? You will take full accountability for a portfolio of customers as well as acquiring new-to-bank customers. You will proactively work with an existing client base to deepen customer relationships, partner with local branches and referral partners to acquire new business as well as initiate business development opportunities.
This role will be mobile giving you the ability to manage across multiple branches & locations that are convenient to the customer. What you’ll need to succeed To be successful in the BBM role you will ideally have; Proven experience managing a portfolio of business customers, ideally in the $500k-$3M range Proven experience in acquiring new-to-bank customers & growing a portfolio Commercial credit skills In addition to the above you will be capable conducting needs-based conversations across the spectrum of business owners’ financial needs, from cash flow to merchants, lending to payments, business credit and all personal needs.
