Laboratory IT Support
About the Company Our client is one of the world’s leading global pharmaceutical manufacturers and suppliers of pharmaceutical related products for the local and overseas global market. Due to new project requirements, our client is now seeking a Laboratory IT Support to work closely with Laboratory Analysts & be responsible for providing desktop support within the laboratory environment.
About the Opportunity Working within a close knit team, key responsibilities include the following: Effectively liaise with laboratory analysts & QA/QC on a regular basis in relation to laboratory equipment applications. Troubleshoot issues with PCs connected to Instruments in the laboratory with knowledge of Active Directory, LDAP, firewalls & networking. Assist with support of Incidents and Service Requests for laboratory related instrumentation in a timely manner.
Participate in the development of laboratory instrument requirements & plans, working closely with R&D and QA/QC stakeholders. Prepare risk assessments & test scripts ensuring all documentation is completed in relation to regulatory guidelines. Write and execute test scripts in a GMP compliant manner.
About You Tertiary qualifications in Science, IT or Computer Systems. Specific experience in supporting Laboratory,R&D and Quality Systems highly desirable. Knowledge of PC's,Desktop and Active Directory in the laboratory environment.
Sound knowledge & understanding experience in compliance with cGMP, GLP, GxP and Laboratory quality systems & requirements. Some knowledge of the Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and GAMP5 experience (IQ, OQ & PQ ) Well Developed communication & interpersonal skills.
