Engineering Manager



The Company Our client is a leading manufacturing business who are focused on driving efficiencies through people, systems and process' and as such as looking for an experienced Engineering Manager to join their team. This role will also be part of the management team and critical to the businesses success into the future. The Role Reporting to the Plant Manager this is a leadership role where you will be responsible for: Leading the site based engineering team to ensure effective operation of the site to maximise efficiency and performance.

Developing the strategic R&M strategy for the site. Develop, monitor and implement yearly capital plans for the replacement of end of life assets and improvement in plans Driving cultural change and taking a lead in IR negotiations and delivering positive outcomes. Implement R&M strategy and cultural change moving towards preventative maintenance and reducing machine downtime.

One of the key focuses will also be managing system compliance and integrity and providing training to your group on the CMMS system. Your Background To be successful, you will be trade or degree qualified and have a proven background in reliability and maintenance from a large scale manufacturing environment managing maintenance teams, in a site engineering function. You will also be able to demonstrate your ability to work through change and drive preventative maintenance with exceptional communication and leadership skills.

Those with experience in food manufacturing will be looked at favourably.
