Provide day-to-day supervision of Telecommunications and Switchboard staff and coordinate administrative systems and procedures to enable the Telecommunications department to achieve their objectives in a timely, reliable and efficient manner. Selection Criteria 1. Ability to perform a wide range of administrative tasks, while managing competing work priorities and work flow within allocated resources 2. Ability to determine priorities for others, allocate tasks, motivate, coach and monitor work performance of staff to achieve work objectives.
3. Demonstrated ability to develop a 24 hour 7 day a week rotating roster 4. Ability to work effectively independently and as part of the team 5.
Demonstrate effective interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills and customer service approach 6. Demonstrated commitment to providing a quality service and quality improvement initiatives in workplace practices and procedures 7. Experience in operating a switchboard, Microsoft Office packages including Word, Outlook, Excel and ability to use other systems such as IPM, Kronos, Staff Link, HETI (or similar) 8.
