Job Title: Safety, Health, Environmental & Quality Officer Job Grade / Classification: Clerk Grade 7/8 Employment Type: Ongoing Full-Time Employment Location: Alexandria The Opportunity: Heritage Stoneworks is seeking to appoint a Safety, Health, Environmental & Quality Officer (SHEQ) who will provide high level advice, guidance, expertise, solutions, training and practical assistance to Heritage Stoneworks management and hands on operational advice to staff and clients on SHEQ management. Particularly involving the design, construction and maintenance of built assets and the relevant legislation and policy dealing with WHS and Environmental compliance and obligations. This role has the ability to affect change over the entire construction industry through the development and implementation of best practice initiatives in conjunction with SafeWork NSW.

In this role, you will: Provide informed advice to the Heritage Stoneworks Director, staff and clients on SHEQ management matters for infrastructure, construction planning and delivery Identify, assess, monitor and control of SHEQ risks at pre-construction and construction stages of projects and in manufacturing operations Review implementation of Heritage Stoneworks Management Systems including SHEQ management system and construction contractors' implementation of their SEQ Management Plans, including on-site implementation Maintain the business's triple ISO accreditation Identify and implement WHS and Best Practice initiatives, including safe design and contract administration, aimed at maintaining Heritage Stoneworks' position as an industry leader in the management of SHEQ Prepare and analyse management reports and incident reports; coordinate and monitor the implementation of the recommended improvements in consultation with relevant stakeholders Contribute in reinforcing a culture focused on achieving safe sustainable results and to the implementation of learning and development programs for SHEQ Management; Establish and maintain productive relationships with internal stakeholder's, SafeWork NSW and EPA, clients, contractors, employers' associations, professional associations and unions Contribute as part of Heritage Stoneworks management team. To be considered for this role you will have: Degree qualifications in related field for WHS, Safety & Environmental; Experience in maintaining Australian and International standards, with respect to quality, environmental, and OHS management systems (i.e.
