What you'll be doing The current electronic incident information management system in NSW, that is in place in all local health districts (LHDs) and the Ambulance service, is to be replaced by an improved Incident Management System (ims). The new system will be easier to use, will provide quality data and reports and will provide feedback to the notifiers of incidents.

The system will be available to all, approximately 160,000, NSW health staff. It will be used to manage patient, relative/visitor, No person (corporate) and work health and safety incidents plus consumer feedback. Unlike the previous system this incident management system will be implemented in not only the LHDs, Networks and Ambulance but in all NSW Health entities including the Pillars, NSW Health Pathology, HealthShare NSW, other entities and some 3rd Schedule facilities.

The ims Implementation Lead will be assisting LHDs, Pillars and other NSW health entities to implement the new system. Skills and Knowledge Relevant tertiary qualifications or equivalent, demonstrated understanding of implementation methodologies and demonstrated successful experience in managing and implementing change. Collaboration and negotiation skills with the capability to build and maintain effective relationships with customers and internal and external stakeholders.

Proven experience facilitating workshops or sessions with diverse audiences and stakeholders. Confidence conducting engagement sessions to large audiences. Sound analytical and problem solving skills including the ability to analyse and interpret information, prepare written strategies, plans and reports, deal with challenges creatively and achieve business focused solutions.

Advanced skills in communicating qualitative and quantitative information to varying audiences using Microsoft Office products in a creative and innovative format. Demonstrated organisational skills and experience working in a high volume and demanding professional environment with a capacity to prioritise competing demands and achieve results within tight timeframes.
