Employment Type : Temporary Full Time up to May 2021 Position Classification : Health Manager Level 3 Remuneration : $2,179.72 - $2,484.88 per week Hours Per Week : 38 Requisition ID : REQ165005 Sydney Local Health District (SLHD) is seeking a Clinical Trials Project Manager to join our team at Charles Perkins Centre, University of Sydney Do you have high level of expertise in the health and medical research environment, particularly with regards to Clinical Trials? In September 2019 a grant agreement between the NSW Office of Health and Medical Research and Sydney Local Health District (on behalf of Sydney Health Partners) was executed.

The purpose of the agreement is to assist with the redesign of Clinical Trial systems. It is the role of the Clinical Trial Project Manager to lead the project which will deliver these objectives. The role involves liaising with key Clinical Trial stakeholders of all Health Service partner organisations within Sydney Health Partners to undertake a comprehensive environmental scan, in addition to the development of a project plan and activity plan.

The plan should be used as a framework to support future activity within SHP and should include stakeholder feedback on the key impediments to the conduct of clinical trials within partner health services. Key requirements necessary to ensure full coverage of clinical trial support services across SHP should also be addressed. The Clinical Trials Project Manager will also have responsibility for ensuring all of the objectives within the grant agreement are met, in addition to the development of reports for key stakeholders to ensure transparency.

The University of Sydney Clinical Trials Centre will have an advisory role for the duration of the project and the incumbent will be required to work closely with them in this regard.
