Assistant Project Officer



Ongoing full-time opportunity Newcastle location $85,488 - $94,327 plus employer's contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading As Assistant Project Officer you will provide support for a range of project related tasks to improve service delivery and optimise outcomes in the portfolio performance and stakeholder relations. In this role you will perform basic research and analysis which others will use to inform project directions. About you To be successful in this role you will have; Demonstrated an understanding of project goals, steps to be undertaken and expected outcomes.

Demonstrated experience working in the fast paced and high pressure project management environment displaying sound organisational and time management skills in handling conflicting priorities with strict deadlines. Demonstrated experience working cooperatively within a team and with internal/external project stakeholders to ensure that relevant project management information is easily accessible to support timely and accurate reporting functions. Essential requirements Tertiary qualifications in a related discipline and/or equivalent knowledge, skills and experience.
