Senior Contract Role | 6 months | Education Industry | $600-680 p/d | Flexible work arrangements | Parramatta Your new company This Government department provides, funds and regulates education services across the state for students and schools and develop and supports educational professionals and leaders to deliver the best outcome. Your new role The role will lead the development, management and implementation of a high quality communications strategy around educational professionals.The role will also be responsible for the development of content and the management of communication related to numerous projects associated with key reforms and its impact.
Duties: Develop, implement and manage communication plans in collaboration with project teams from within and outside the directorate to support the implementation of a range of projects Manage stakeholder and customer engagement, preparing and implementing stakeholder and communication engagement plans Coordinate, contribute and prepare engaging, informative, high quality and factual messages, correspondence, briefs, reports and presentations to facilitate achievement of project objectives Undertake research and formulate recommendations to support evidence based improvements that support the management of initiates and development of options for implementation in relation to the key education reforms Produce and maintain standard communication tools, templates and content for a variety of mediums including online, publications, social media, video, audio, email, events and collateral. What you'll need to succeed Demonstrated significant communications expertise including developing and executing communications strategies and plans in a project environment Relevant qualifications or equivalent experience in communications, community engagement, public relations, government relations or related disciplines Government and Education experience highly favorable Must be digital savvy and work across platforms and CRMs Excellent writing and content development skills Previous project management skills Knowledge of and commitment to the Department's Aboriginal Education policies What you'll get in return Immediate start 6 months initially - possible extension Working on exciting projects rolled out across the state What you need to do now If you're interested in this role, click 'apply now' to forward an up-to-date copy of your CV, or call us now.
