Northern Adelaide Local Health Network, Mental Health Services, Northgate House Indicative Total Remuneration: $124,301 - $131,635 p.a. - RN/RM3 - Permanent Full-Time Northgate House is our award-winning service, functioning as the northern neurobehavioral unit, an important component in the Oakden Report Response model of care.
Northgate House provides specialist transitional care to people with very severe to extreme behaviours and psychological symptoms of dementia and/or complex enduring mental health presentations. We are fully committed to operationalising the Oakden Report Response co-designed Culture Framework. We are also dedicated to providing dignified best-practice care to people living with dementia and/or mental health with complex needs. We are looking for a special person to join our team as Nurse Unit Manager.
You will be at the heart of our team. First and foremost, you will have a passion for working with older people, particularly people living with dementia. You will have contemporary knowledge regarding management of complex behavioural presentations, taking a rich interdisciplinary perspective.
You will have experience in leading a team with strong operational management skills, including an understanding of the aged care sector. You will have a keen interest in building on strengths already achieved in the service to cultivate a positive team culture. You will also be able to contribute collaboratively to the broader Older Persons’ Mental Health Service in NALHN and state-wide, as part of the leadership team.
