For more information visit Northern NSW Local Health District What you'll be doing The Clinical Nurse Consultant (CNC) Parkinson's Disease provides an advanced level nursing service as an expert in the specialty field, providing evidence-based advice and facilitating linkages and relationships with Local Health District nurses, allied health staff and medical officers to support patient management.
Providing assessment, care planning and review of patients in collaboration with the primary service providers to ensure that evidence based practice is utilised. The CNC is responsible for providing expert clinical organisation, coordination, leadership and consultancy services for people living with Parkinson's disease to enhance quality of life and improve health outcomes within the Northern NSW Local Health District. Registered Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and a minimum of 5 years' full time equivalent post registration experience and at least 3 years' full time equivalent experience in the field of Parkinson's Disease and post graduate qualifications relevant to the clinical specialty.
