Employment Type : Casual Position Classification : Registered Midwife Remuneration : $32.37 - $45.45 per hour Requisition ID : REQ159965 Location : Singleton District Hospital Registered Midwife As a Registered Midwife you will provide safe, compassionate woman centred care within the maternity and gynaecology service ensuring care is delivered in partnership with women and their families.
You will take a leadership role in coordinating midwifery care, working in partnership with Registered Nurses, Student Midwives, Assistants in Midwifery and the multidisciplinary team in a collaborative model which places the woman at the centre of her maternity care. Our focus at Singleton District Hospital for maternity care is to ensure that it is collaborative, where the woman and her family remain at the centre of the car experience and are actively involved in all decisions about the pregnancy, birth and after the baby is born. To be eligible for employment in these roles you must be: an Australian Citizen, or a permanent resident of Australia, or a New Zealand citizen with a current New Zealand Passport, or a citizen of another country with an appropriate visa that allows you to work in Australia.
