SUPPLY CHAIN DEPARTMENT MANAGER

We are seeking the services of an experienced Procurement, Contracts and Material Management Department Manager.
Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will be responsible for Supply Chain function including Contracts, Procurement, Material Management, Supplier Quality Surveillance and Logistics as well as leadership and execution of key project supply chain roles. The role is Perth based with project activities executed by their specific office location, typically but not limited to, Perth and West Australia. Key roles and responsibilities include: Provide leadership to project Supply Chain management to ensure compliance with Fluor supply chain strategies; Provide project leadership to manage the successful execution of all aspects of select supply chain projects; Ensure technical integrity of work and assign discipline auditors as required by project audit plans; Prepare, approve and implement project-specific plans, procedures, and work processes to ensure alignment with the scope of services; Verify planned work activities are taking place to ensure deliverables meet project schedule and baseline requirements; Provide support for home office activities, proposals, studies and projects; Assure the integrity of department deliverables are being maintained through implementation of Fluor reference systems and discipline work processes, and obtaining deviation approvals when required; Assign qualified personnel to projects, and regularly review personnel to assess performance and establish training requirements Hire, train, and retain the essential resources necessary for the execution of all project activities; Support Supply Chain organisational initiatives by reviewing, contributing, and providing qualified resources for input; Sign procedurally correct purchasing and contract documents exceeding project Supply Chain management signature authority.
To be successful in the role you must have: Proven past experience in similar roles, with both project and functional leadership experience Proficiency in both the Contracts and Procurement functions Proven ability to influence across a broad organisation with multiple business units.
