We now have the opportunity for current Registered Midwives to apply for a Clinical Midwife position . This position will be offered on a permanent basis, with 64 hours per fortnight on offer for the successful candidate. Highly motivated Nurse/Midwives who pride themselves on the delivery of high standard patient care, the ability to act as a clinical resource and effectively manage resources to deliver outcomes are encouraged to apply.
The successful candidate will have: A willingness and capacity to embrace the Mission and Values of St John of God Health Care. Registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (AHPRA) as a Registered Midwife and/or Nurse. Three years’ relevant post registration experience.
Recent acute clinical practice in a relevant environment. Ability to work collaboratively in a multi-disciplinary environment. Well-developed skills in communication, conflict resolution, negotiation and problem solving.
A knowledge of and commitment to quality improvement and risk management principles. Demonstrated commitment to occupational health and safety in the workplace. Demonstrated leadership ability.
