ILS Practitioner - Sustainment
The key duties of the position include As part of the Helicopter Systems Division within Capability Acquisition and Sustainment Group (CASG), the Air Training and Aviation Commons System Program Office (ATACSPO) delivers Pilot Training, Ground Support Equipment (GSE) assets and Test and Measurement equipment (T&ME) assets in support of Defence Capability and Operations. ATACSPO Head Office is located in Regional Victoria at the RAAF Base East Sale with an office also located within the Melbourne CBD. ATACSPO is seeking two APS 4 ILS Practitioners - Sustainment to fulfil the roles of Fundamental Input to Capability (FIC) Officer's within the Aviation Commons Management Unit (ACMU).
As a FIC officer you will have excellent written and oral communication skills to be able to engage collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders and work across multi-discipline teams in the development and support of work products and outcomes. You will have knowledge of the Defence Force Logistics systems to enable you to advise and support product and performance managers on planning, performance and reporting requirements. The FIC officer will also be required to assess processes and reports and provide appropriate advice and recommendations in order to achieve the best outcome for capability.
The positions report to the Fundamental Input to Capability Coordinator.
