Your new company An exciting 6-week event producer role has arisen at a leading marketing communications agency based in the Sydney CBD. The agency offers public relations, social media and content creation expertise to brands.
Your new role The candidate will oversee the activation events for huge global brands. The successful candidate will have 6-8 years of experience working on events, and this experience can be in-house or agency. Working holiday visas are welcome.
Implement high level planning and coordination of various aspects of allocated event projects including project management, risk management, technical production, logistics, marketing, sponsorship, volunteer management and post event reporting, Liaison and coordination with internal and external stakeholders relevant to the event project, Creative development of event concepts and programs, Develop, manage and review event project budget as required, Procuring event suppliers, Assist in the selection and booking of entertainment, Managing registration systems e.g. Entrant database, Provide regular progress reports to Manager, Events or lead Event Production Coordinator.
What you'll need to succeed You will be a confident communicator with the ability to liaise with both internal and external stakeholders and act as an advocate for the organisation. Exceptional organisational skills, and the ability to juggle and prioritise a varied workload is essential. Relevant tertiary qualifications and/or minimum 6-8 years demonstrated experience in the events industry, Demonstrated experience in high-volume events management, Demonstrated experience in project management of events and festivals including scoping, determining project resources, budgeting processes and project delivery, Demonstrated experience in successful relationship management of event suppliers, personnel, and external stakeholders, Demonstrated ability to work independently, undertake several projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
