Your new company Our client is a locally owned and established business specializing in the supply, hire and repair of Generators, Fuel Cell’s, Lighting Towers along with providing transport solutions to the wider Central & North QLD Regions right through to the NT Border. Offering 24/7 call out our client works alongside many of the regions hospitals, police stations & Telecommunications to provide ongoing 24/7 support, sales and repairs. Your new role Your new role will see you reporting into the Managing Director ensuring job schedules and allocation of resources throughout their team are managed to suit clients requirements whilst ensuring the effective management /allocation of all incoming & outgoing freight.

Some of your duties will include: Allocation and dispatch of freight/products throughout QLD Direction & allocation of staffing Effective management of the workforce including job scheduling, effective allocation of man hours and compliance Providing estimates for repairs, services, installs and sales. Implementing all policies and procedures ensuring OHS & Department of Transport compliance. Communication of daily tasks, monitoring progress and quality Effective freight tracking Client correspondence including regular updates on freight What you'll need to succeed To be successful in this role you will have previous experience within a workshop environment and hold the following qualifications/attributes: High Risk Forklift Licence - Desirable Current Open Drivers Licence Previous experience within a similar industry.

The ability to mentor and lead a diverse team Commitment to safety Intermediate computer skills Exceptional interpersonal skills, you will be dealing with clients on a daily basis and a professional manner is essential within this role. Based from Mackay you will be required to work a Monday to Friday roster with some overtime if applicable.
